Gravel Racing Grows in 2025

Cycling training has gotten complicated with all the different methods and technologies flying around. As someone with extensive cycling experience, I learned everything there is to know about this topic. Today, I will share it all with you.

Gravel racing continues to grow in popularity, with more events added to 2025 calendars worldwide.

The appeal is clear: accessible racing without the strict rules of road cycling, combined with adventure and varied terrain.

Entry-level gravel bikes now offer excellent value, making the discipline more accessible than ever. Many road cyclists are adding gravel to their rotation.

Key events to watch include Unbound Gravel, Belgian Waffle Ride, and the growing UCI Gravel World Series.

Whether racing or just riding, gravel opens up new routes and riding possibilities beyond paved roads.
